The first fifty feet of your house

The part of the property every visitor walks on, and the first thing anyone sees from the street. Bluestone, flagstone and paver walks, landings and steps.

What we build

Cut rectangular in a running or random pattern, or irregular with tight joints. The most common choice on an older or brick house.

Pennsylvania bluestone

Natural broken edges, set with gravel or stone-dust joints. Looks softer and suits a wooded lot.

Irregular flagstone

Tumbled or smooth, laid in a herringbone or staggered pattern with a contrasting border. The most forgiving choice on a long run or a steep slope.

Manufactured pavers

Multi-tiered stone staircase with illuminated risers, water bottles, and electrical equipment outside a building

Borders and steps

A row of red brick set on edge around a bluestone surface. It’s the detail most of our walks are recognized by.

Brick borders

Bluestone treads on brick or block risers, solid granite steps, or paver step units with lighting set under the lip of each tread.
